How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Assess clinical learning needs, then plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based nursing curricula and professional development programs across the continuum of care.

  • Partner with leadership as a strategic consultant to design and analyze organizational initiatives that improve nursing clinical performance and core competencies.

  • Create and execute multi-faceted competency programs and evaluation metrics to ensure clinical staff practice safely and effectively.

  • Manage performance and competency standards for collaborative, inter-professional programs to support all team members in practicing to the highest extent of their licensure.

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. 

Work Experience:

  • Required professional licensure at time of hire.
What additional requirements you'll need:
  • MSN
  • Minimum of 5 years in acute care setting with a variety of nursing experiences
  • Education or staff development experience
