Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (36 hours guaranteed per week)
Location: Specialty Bakersfield
Schedule: 3×12s with the option to pick up a 4th shift based on unit needs
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective outcomes.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
Acute care facility experience: Preferred
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California – Required
BLS / CPR (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI-BLS) – Required
ACLS (ACLS, HS-ACLS, or RQI-ACLS) – Required
PALS (PALS, HS-PALS, or RQI-PALS) – Required
Collects and analyzes patient data to identify health conditions and care needs
Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans
Coordinates patient care and promotes a safe, healing environment
Monitors patient progress and revises care plans as needed
Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Provides education and health information to patients and families
Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
Delegates tasks appropriately and coordinates team activities
Performs additional duties as assigned
