Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: 1000 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342
Schedule: Evenings | Varies | 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours/Week
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) RN experience required.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required.
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
- Experience using Cerner EMR required/preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in emergency assessment, triage, trauma, and critical care.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department.
- No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients presenting with medical, surgical, traumatic, and psychiatric emergencies.
- Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and prioritization using established emergency department protocols.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments in accordance with physician orders.
- Initiate and monitor cardiac monitoring, telemetry, oxygen therapy, and other life-saving interventions.
- Assist physicians during trauma activations, resuscitations, emergency procedures, and critical care interventions.
