We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join our fast-paced Emergency Department team. This role is ideal for an experienced RN who excels in high acuity environments, works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and is committed to delivering exceptional, patient centered emergency care.
The ED RN provides comprehensive nursing care, coordinates critical interventions, and ensures efficient department flow. This position primarily supports night shift operations, with flexibility to meet evolving department needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver direct, high-quality nursing care to patients with emergent and complex needs
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing patient monitoring
• Administer medications, initiate IV therapy, and manage critical interventions
• Collaborate closely with providers, ED Techs, and ancillary staff to support safe, efficient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely
• Assist with trauma care, resuscitation efforts, and emergency procedures
• Maintain readiness of patient care areas, equipment, and supplies
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team in high stress situations
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergent events
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous Emergency Department or critical care experience
• Training or experience with trauma care, cardiac monitoring, or emergency procedures
Required Qualifications
• Active Oregon RN License
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS, PALS, TNCC Certifications or equivalent
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high acuity environment
Compensation: $45.80- $77.64 DOE
