Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - PRN | Days | Nights

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a well -known hospital located in Russellville, AL to recruit compassionate, driven, and highly skilled Registered Nurse for their Emergency Department team.<\/span>
<\/p>

As an ER Registered Nurse, you’ll assess, plan and implement and evaluate patient care during some of the most critical moments of their lives while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to clinical excellence, compassion, and community -centered care.<\/span>

What You’ll Do<\/span>
<\/p>

• Advocate for patients of all ages, respond to emergencies, and maintain an efficient ER environment<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Perform patient assessments and implement individualized care plans with interdisciplinary teams<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Administer medications and IV therapy safely and accurately<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Respond rapidly to trauma, medical emergencies, and critical situations<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Coordinate nursing care and patient assignments based on acuity and staff competencies<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Accurately document patient status, interventions and responses in the electronic medical record<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Provide compassionate support and communication to patients and families<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Uphold the highest standards for patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care<\/span>
  <\/li><\/ul>

  What We’re Looking For<\/span>
  <\/p>

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Current Alabama RN license or Multi -State Compact RN license<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • BLS certification required; Must obtain ACLS and PALS certifications within one year of hire<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • TNCC preferred<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Previous Emergency Department experience strongly preferred<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • New graduates with a passion for emergency medicine are encouraged to apply<\/span>
