Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3x12-Hour
Orientation: 16 hours (Non-billable)
Job Description
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a travel contract assignment in a high-acuity emergency care setting. The RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care, rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment of patients presenting with emergency and life-threatening conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department
- Perform triage, assessment, and stabilization of patients
- Manage a wide range of emergency cases and critical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments per clinical protocols
- Float to other units as needed based on facility requirements
- Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR
- Utilize Omnicell medication system for dispensing and management
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in applicable state
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required
- TNCC certification required
- CPI or MAB certification required
- Strong emergency nursing and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work night shifts and rotating weekends
