Location: Utica, NY Rate: Up to $2300.00 Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1 Shifts Available:
12-Hour Days | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
12-Hour Evenings | 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM
12-Hour Nights | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract: 13-Week Contract | Local & Travel Accepted Hours: 36 per week
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
Pediatric Emergency Department experience required
Previous travel experience required
Active, unencumbered New York RN license
EPIC experience required
Charge Nurse experience highly preferred
Must be able to float as needed
Certifications:
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS
AHA PALS
NIHSS
TNCC
Responsibilities:
Provide emergency nursing care for newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
Assess, monitor, and treat patients with a wide range of emergency conditions including trauma, stroke, sepsis, cardiac emergencies, and respiratory failure
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and critical care drips
Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care in a fast-paced emergency department
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Document patient care accurately in EPIC
Float as needed to support patient care and departmental operations
