Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency
Location: Tulsa, OK 74133
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift/Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Complete patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide nursing care considering cultural, psychosocial, and age-specific patient needs.
• Prioritize and perform nursing skills appropriate to the patient population.
• Anticipate patient and unit needs and respond appropriately.
• Demonstrate clinical knowledge of disease processes and patient care management.
• Delegate responsibilities and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Exercise professional judgment in changing patient care situations.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the medical record.
• Utilize appropriate medical terminology and documentation standards.
• Facilitate patient education, discharge planning, and referrals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Participate in quality improvement and educational activities.
• Attend mandatory in-services and meet departmental education requirements.
• Complete variance reports accurately and timely.
• Work directly with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and staff.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience.
• Epic EMR experience.
• Knowledge of disease state management, clinical pathways, and bio-psychosocial care models.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze clinical and numerical data.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License.
• BLS certification through AHA.
• ACLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
• PALS certification.

Preferences:

• ENPC certification.
• TNCC certification.
