What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population, including infants to end-of-life patients
• Manage acuity levels spanning MedSurg, Stepdown, ICU, trauma cases, and multispecialty patient needs
• Perform advanced skills such as ventilator management, critical care drips, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and administration of treatments like TPA for stroke
• Support patient stabilization and coordinate with hospitalist and ED physicians
• Complete documentation using Meditech Expanse EMR and operate hospital equipment including Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Collaborate with charge nurses and ancillary teams to deliver patient-centered care
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• At least 2 years of ER or acute care nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB
• Strong clinical skills including cardiac, stroke, trauma, and critical care
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to onboarding
• Professionalism, excellent communication, and teamwork skills
