What You’ll Do
  • Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population, including infants through end-of-life
  • Manage patients with acuity levels ranging from MedSurg to ICU, including trauma stabilization
  • Perform ventilator management and handle critical care drips/titration
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and measure cardiac strips
  • Utilize hemodynamic lines such as Art lines and CVP
  • Support stroke patients, assist with conscious sedation, and perform procedures like splinting and chest tube management
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including ED physicians, hospitalists, and RTs
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in Meditech Expanse EMR

What You Need
  • Active Louisiana RN license
  • Minimum 2 years ER experience
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB
  • Strong critical care and triage skills
  • Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
