What Youll Do
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ER setting
- Manage ventilators, critical care drips, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Conduct assessments and assist with procedures like splinting, chest tubes, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Support patient stabilization and coordinate care for trauma, stroke, cardiac, and other emergencies
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and hospital staff to ensure high-quality care
- Document patient care using Meditech Expanse EMR system
- Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to patient safety protocols
What You Need
- Active RN license in Louisiana or eligible to obtain
- Minimum 2 years ER experience in acute care setting
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB certifications
- Proficiency in ventilator management, cardiac rhythm, and critical care procedures
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to arrival
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
