Registered Nurse - ER - Contract

MUST HAVE RECENT EPIC EXPERIENCE- please mark the year the candidate last used epic on the cover page.

Education & Experience :

T hree ( 3) years of recent ED experience required .

BSN

Travel experience required ( comp leted at least one contract assignment)

High volume/ fast pace experience preferred*

Epic experience required

Certification/Licensure:

NJ License/Compact

AHA BLS

ACLS

PALS

NIHSS

* pending certs, or certs that expire within 30 days of submission are NOT accepted*

Weekend: Every other

Holiday: None

RTO- no more than 3 days accepted.

Hospital Orientation Information: You will receive TWOseparate communications from the hospital. The 1 st will be an email with the link for Monday's meeting as well as login information. Please note that you may not receive this email until the morning of, but you will receive by 8:30am! You will also hear directly from your manager for unit orientation and remaining schedule. If you do not hear from your manager by Monday, please let me know ASAP.

Orientation Schedule:

• Monday (remote): Welcome Meeting in morning and at your own pace modules after
• 
  
• Tuesday: Report to home hospital - you will either do the EPIC test out OR do the EPIC modules *dependent on your EPIC Onboarding Form
• 
  
• Wednesday-Saturday: Unit Orientation Shifts (you will receive schedule directly from manager)
• 
  
• ID Badge Appointment: please be sure to go to your scheduled appointment before your 1 st unit shift so that you have an active badge
• 
  
• The POCT class is scheduled for the 2 nd or 3 rd week of the assignment. Please ensure POCT class date is attended (*You can view your class date/time/location in your Healthstreams)
