Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse – ER/Medical Surgical will provide direct and comprehensive care in an emergency and med/surg setting. This role requires critical thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Candidates must be prepared to support patient care under varying shift demands and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to drive quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality emergency and medical surgical nursing care based on clinical protocols.
Respond to acute patient needs in both ER and MedSurg environments.
Utilize EMR systems (preferably Cerner) for documentation and coordination.
Administer treatments, medications, and perform diagnostic testing as appropriate.
Adhere to infection control and safety standards in all aspects of care.
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Meet submission requirements, including resume, references, and license verification.
Required Experience:
2+ years of recent experience in Emergency or Med/Surg nursing
Documented travel RN experience
Two recent charge/manager RN references in the specialty
