Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department

• Assess patients and prioritize care based on acuity

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered

• Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes

• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary health care team

• Document patient care accurately and efficiently

• Assist with emergency procedures and stabilization of patients

• Provide education and support to patients and families

Requirements

• Active RN license

• BSN or ADN from an accredited nursing program

• Previous Emergency Department/ER experience preferred

• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• BLS required

• ACLS and PALS preferred/required based on facility requirements
