• Pay Rate: $80.00 $81.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night shift (3x12 Hours), shift start time 7:00 PM with flexibility to start four hours prior to or four hours after posted start time based on limited critical department need. *VERY RARELY FLEXED ONLY WHEN THERE IS AN URGENT STAFFING NEED*

Job Summary

This is a travel/contract Registered Nurse opportunity in the Emergency Room (ER) at a UMass Memorial Medical Center campus in Worcester, MA, operating under a Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours.

Education Requirements

• Permanent Massachusetts RN license in hand required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required
• EPIC electronic health record system preferred

Required Experience

• Minimum 1.5 years of ER nursing experience

Required Skills

• Must be able to read telemetry

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Night shift (3x12 Hours); shift start time 7:00 PM with flexibility to start four hours prior to or four hours after posted start time based on limited critical department need
• Flu vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed
• COVID-19 vaccination: not required

Important Notes

• Travelers must be aware of 2 pass/fail exams at orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam. Both exams allow only 1 attempt. If the traveler does not pass, the contract is cancelled immediately. Several study materials will be provided between the compliance process and FDIs.
