• Pay Rate: $75.00 $80.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Evening shift, 3x12 Hours; start time 3:00 PM with flexibility to start four hours prior to or four hours after posted start time based on limited critical department need. *VERY RARELY FLEXED ONLY WHEN THERE IS AN URGENT STAFFING NEED*

Job Summary

This is a travel/contract Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Room (ER) specialty at a medical center in Worcester, MA. The facility offers contract lengths of 13 26 weeks, with scheduling options of 36 or 48 hours per week. Priority consideration is given to candidates with minimal requested time off and 26-week contract commitments.

Education Requirements

• Permanent Massachusetts (MA) RN license in hand required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required
• EPIC charting system experience preferred

Required Experience

• Minimum 1.5 years of nursing experience required

Required Skills

• Must be able to read telemetry

Preferred Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccination: not required
• Evening shift (3x12 hours); shift start time 3:00 PM with flexibility to start up to four hours prior to or four hours after posted start time based on critical department staffing need
• Holiday scheduling: facility allows 1 major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year) to be included in requested time off; priority given to candidates with minimal RTO and 26-week contracts

Important Notes

• Traveler must be aware of and acknowledge 2 pass/fail exams at orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam. Both exams allow only 1 attempt. Failure to pass either exam will result in immediate contract cancellation. Study materials will be provided during the compliance process and FDIs.
