Registered Nurse FT Positions Available. Salary depends on experience.

A growing & progressive private pediatrician office is looking to hire full-time RNs to meet our expanding patient base. This position works collaboratively with all other staff to assist the patient and facilitate successful patient interaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Triage Patients
• Administer medications/vaccines as ordered
• Record in charts; document patient communications in the medical record
• Perform duties and assist providers as part of the practice care team
• Maintain good interpersonal relationships with patients, families, and co-workers

Qualifications:

• Valid RN NYS nursing license
• Knowledge of nursing processes; health care systems, structure, and functions
• Understanding of healthcare technology, equipment, and supplies.
• Knowledge of state law regarding nursing care, nurse practice guidelines, and office policies and procedures.
• Current CPR Certification

Desired Qualifications:

• One or more years of experience preferred but not required
• Experience with electronic medical records, Medent preferred

Must be available to work occasional Monday/Wednesday evenings (11:30 - 8:00 pm) and an occasional 1/2 day on Saturday (8:30 am to approximately 12:30 -1:00 pm. (Once every 4th or 5th Saturday or Monday/Wednesday)
