Registered Nurse | Full Time | Days | Med Surg

Work Schedule and Shift Premiums

• Full Time (Days) | 7am to 7 pm | 3 days / 36 hours/week including every other weekend
• 2nd shift premium is $2.00/hour
• 3rd shift premium is $3.05/hour
• Weekend premium is $2.00/hour

Requirements

• Valid Michigan RN license (could possibly start as a GN while obtaining your MI license or sitting for your NCLEX)
• Experience preferred but not required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and CPI certification (available through Hillsdale Hospital)

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ conditions and maintain accurate, detailed and confidential reports and records
• Consult with and advise patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Create a comfortable environment for patients and families using a non-judgmental, compassionate attitude and open communication
• Work cohesively with healthcare team to assess, administer and evaluate individual patient care plans
