What You'll Do

As a Charge Nurse in a skilled nursing facility, you will play an important leadership role in supporting daily clinical operations and ensuring residents receive compassionate, high-quality care. You will help guide nursing staff, monitor changes in resident condition, support care plans, and promote a safe and positive environment for residents and team members.

• Provide direct nursing care and support to residents in a skilled nursing setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor, assess, document, and report changes in resident condition
• Support and follow resident care plans as directed
• Complete incident and accident reports as needed
• Communicate with residents, families, and points of contact regarding status updates or changes in condition
• Complete narcotic reconciliation with incoming and outgoing shifts
• Provide leadership and support to CNAs and other nursing team members
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Assist with other duties or projects assigned by the Director of Nursing or Administrator

What We're Looking For

• Must have an active RN license in the state of Texas in good standing
• Must have graduated from an accredited RN nursing program
• Skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehab experience preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and leadership skills
• Ability to respond to resident needs and changes in condition with urgency and compassion
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
