    Job Description

    Schedule: 36 hours weekly, 7am to 7pm with rotating weekends | Job Location Type: In Person

    The General Adult Unit is specially designed for the treatment of adults 18 and older who are experiencing a variety of mental health diagnoses. Our team provides crisis stabilization services with a goal of moving patients to a less-intensive level of care as soon as is safe to do so.

    What to expect.

     As a Registered Nurse/RN you will: 

    • Perform a full range of professional psychiatric nursing services, including assessing, planning, administering, and evaluating patient care in accordance with team treatment plans.
    • Administer medical treatment as prescribed by physician.
    • Teach and provide psychosocial support to patients and their families.
    • Provide day-to-day clinical direction to assigned Mental Health Workers or other paraprofessional staff.
    • Document and report patient progress to treatment team.

    The pay range for this position is $37.08 minimum to $56.83 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience as a registered nurse.

    What we need from you.

    • Must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Maryland (or compact state) at time of appointment and continuously while in position.
    • Experience in a psychiatric nursing setting preferred.
    • All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment.
