Position: Registered Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments following hospital protocols and physician orders.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, responding promptly to changes or emergencies.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care plans to empower informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training sessions to continually enhance patient care standards.

Qualifications:
  • Valid and current Registered Nurse license in the state of Kansas or the ability to obtain licensure.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical software.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications may be preferred depending on the department.
