Original Posting Dates: 9/18/2025 - 9/25/2025 The Holding Area Nurse is a critical member of the cardiac procedural team, responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the pre- and post-procedural holding areas of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab. This role involves preparing patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures, closely monitoring them post-procedure, managing discharge processes, and ensuring safe transitions of care in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. Job Requirements: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensein New York State. BLS and ACLS certification required. Minimum of two (2) years of critical Care, emergency or procedural area nursing experience. Prior experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or EP lab settings strongly preferred.
