• 7 nights on 7 nights off

• Friday 5p- Friday 8a; including Sat and Sun 8a-5p

• RN Compact or MO and KS required

• Valid driver's license required

• Family Care Safety Registry required

• Prior hospice experience preferred

• FT Overnight

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke's Home Care and Hospice has an exciting new opportunity for a full-time Registered Nurse to take overnight and weekend call and make hospice and home care visits in the Kansas City metropolitan area. This position is part of our Seven-On/Seven-Off alternative staffing plan, which offers superb work-life balance and flexibility.

Shift: An employee accepted into this role will be scheduled to work seven consecutive days. Hours will be Friday 5pm though Friday 8a, this would include Saturday and Sunday 8a-5p. You will make hospice visits and assist with admissions. You will then be off for the following seven days so you will enjoy 26 weeks of time off per year with the opportunity to pick up extra visits during your off weeks if you desire.

The Work:

• Triaging calls and meeting the callers needs as appropriate.

• Performing hospice visits at night and on weekends.

• Performing start of care and routine hospice visits on weekends.

• Educating the patient and family members on following the care plan and medication administration.

• Candidates must have an active Missouri and Kansas RN License.

Applicable Experience:

Less than 1 year

Basic Life Support- American Heart Association or Red Cross, Driver's License- Various, Registered Nurse- Various

Associate Degree
