Custom Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Educator specializing in Labor & Delivery for a 13 week contracted full-time hospital opportunity located in Far Rockaway, NY (Queens).We are looking for a passionate nursing leader with strong Labor & Delivery experience who enjoys educating, mentoring, and developing nursing staff. This is an excellent opportunity to help shape clinical practice while supporting exceptional maternal and newborn care.Schedule

• Night Shift
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Alternate weekends required
• 13-week contract w| opportunites to extend

Labor & DeliveryClinical Nurse EducatorResponsibilities

• Develop and deliver educational programs for Labor & Delivery nursing staff
• Coordinate orientation, onboarding, and competency validation for new nurses
• Mentor and support staff through bedside education and clinical coaching
• Promote evidence-based maternal and newborn nursing practices
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify educational needs and improve clinical outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Maintain current regulatory and professional practice standards
• Serve as a clinical resource for Labor & Delivery staff

Labor & DeliveryClinical Nurse EducatorQualifications

• Active New York State RN License
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required
• Minimum of three years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Previous Nurse Educator, Clinical Educator, Staff Development, Clinical Instructor, or Preceptor experience strongly preferred
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• NRP required
• Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills

Compensation & Benefits

• $86.65–$89.66 per hour, based on experience
