Position Title: Registered Nurse – House Supervisor Location: Gouverneur, NY 13642 Duration: 13 weeks Work Schedule: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Pay rate: $70 - $78/hr.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Avg. Daily Census: 19
Beds: 25
Weekend Coverage: EOW
Locals Accepted: N - must be > 50 miles.
Years of Experience Required: 1 yr - House Supervisor or RN Manager experience.
Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler: No
Patient Diagnoses: CHF, Pneumonia, obs rule out for chest pain, syncope, diverticulitis, cellulitis, COPD, ETOH withdrawal, Opiate withdrawal, debility.
Special Procedures/Unit Details: Scattered bed unit that servues swing bed, detox, and medical patients
Special Equipment: Bariatric equipment rented when needed.
Hospital has day surgery only, 7 bed ER, 25 bed inpatient unit that serves detox/swing/medical patients.
RN ratio on inpatient unit 1:6 days 1:7 nights with LPN support to assist with med pass and/or take ALC/swing bed assignment.
Majority of census is subacute client who require rehab for debility, wound care, long-term IV antibioti
No formal dress code, scrubs required
RT services Mon-Fri 7a-3p only
Qualifications
Active NY State LPN License — required.
ACLS, BLS, PALS required.
EPIC experience Preferred.
First-time travelers accepted.
