Registered Nurse – ICU (Days + Call) | Travel Assignment

Location: Globe, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 3x12-Hour Day Shifts
Call Requirement: Rotating 24-Hour Call Coverage

Position Overview

A healthcare facility in Globe, Arizona is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled critical care nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working in a rural or critical access hospital setting.

The role includes day shifts, rotating 24-hour call coverage, and floating to Med/Surg units based on patient care needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care to critically ill ICU patients
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuous monitoring
  • Administer medications, titrate drips, and evaluate patient responses
  • Care for ventilated and hemodynamically unstable patients
  • Respond effectively to emergency and rapid response situations
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech EMR
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Float to Med/Surg units as required by facility needs
  • Participate in scheduled on-call rotations
  • Follow all infection control, safety, and hospital protocols
  • Provide education and support to patients and families

Requirements

  • Active RN license (required)
  • Minimum 3 years of ICU nursing experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Strong critical care and emergency response skills
  • Experience with Meditech 6.0 preferred
  • Ability to adapt in a rural healthcare environment
  • Comfortable floating to Med/Surg when needed
  • Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
