Registered Nurse – ICU (Travel Contract)
Location: Falmouth, Massachusetts

Position Details

  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks
  • Schedule: 36 Hours/Week
  • Shift: Night Shift (3x12s)
  • Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
  • Holiday Requirement: Rotating Holidays
  • Float Requirement: May float to Med/Surg Tele units based on census and operational needs

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Falmouth, MA. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced intensive care environment while demonstrating strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Monitor and manage critically ill patients requiring intensive care interventions
  • Administer medications and evaluate patient responses
  • Operate and monitor ventilators, invasive lines, and hemodynamic equipment
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
  • Develop and update individualized patient care plans
  • Serve as charge nurse when assigned
  • Follow all hospital safety, infection control, and compliance protocols
  • Participate in patient and family education as appropriate
  • Float to Med/Surg Tele units when required

Required Qualifications

  • Active Massachusetts RN License
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Current ACLS Certification
  • ICU/Critical Care nursing experience required
  • Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN preferred
  • CCRN Certification
  • TCAR Certification
  • De-escalation Training Certification
  • Experience with ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and intracranial pressure monitoring
