• Pay Rate: $75.00 $80.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night Shift, 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
• Travel Requirements: Accepts first-time travelers

Job Summary

This is a travel/contract Registered Nurse ICU position in a Medical ICU setting requiring Cardiac Surgery ICU experience. The role operates on a night shift schedule (3x12) and includes float requirements to other adult ICUs as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Medical ICU setting, with Cardiac Surgery ICU experience required
• Float to other adult ICUs as needed
• Adhere to scheduling based on the needs of the unit (no block schedules can be accommodated)
• Provide coverage every 3rd holiday as part of the weekend/holiday rotation
• Document and chart using Epic

Education Requirements

• MA RN License required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

Required Experience

• 2 years ICU experience highly preferred; candidates with fewer than 2 years will still be considered
• Cardiac Surgery ICU experience required
• First-time travelers accepted

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Medical ICU unit
• Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
• Float to other adult ICUs required as needed
• Holiday rotation: every 3rd holiday
• Scheduling is based on the needs of the unit; no block schedules can be accommodated
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
