    In the role of a Registered Nurse II, you will:

    • Provide and accurately detail direct and indirect patient care services to ensure patient safety, comfort, and personal hygiene.
    • Educate patients on disease prevention and restorative measures.
    • Coordinate medications and therapeutic agents necessary for treatment, disease prevention, or rehabilitation.
    • Perform skin tests, immunizations, phlebotomy, and initiate peripheral venous access.
    • Observe and assess signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to medications/treatments, and general patient behavior.
    • Plan and implement individualized patient care based on observations and standardized procedures.
    • Initiate emergency procedures when indicated.
    • Provide care to diverse patient populations, taking into account cultural, spiritual, age, psychosocial, and other specific needs.
    • Identify and assess patient safety concerns and implement appropriate interventions.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Associate's degree in Nursing (required).
    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).

    Licenses/Certifications:

    • Current and valid CA RN license is required.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS/ALS) certification is required.

    Experience:

    • One (1) year of acute care experience in PreOp/PACU(required).
