Registered Nurse – Home Health
Weekly Hour Guarantee: 32 hours
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
On‑Call/Weekend Requirement: Yes - rotational
Coverage Areas: Christian - Trigg Counties
Mileage Reimbursement: from first site to last site at the federal rate (.725 per mile)
Rate: up to $50.00 per hour
Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing care in a home health setting. This role focuses on comprehensive patient care, education, and collaboration with physicians to promote positive outcomes and prevent hospitalization.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments in the home setting
- Deliver skilled nursing services including:
- Wound care
- IV administration
- Sterile dressing changes
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
- Educate patients and caregivers on disease processes, medications, and care plans
- Support hospitalization prevention through proactive care and monitoring
- Accurately document care and patient progress in compliance with agency standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Valid Driver’s License
- Current CPR certification
- Prior home health nursing experience
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned coverage area
