Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua'i community with accessible quality health care. The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is dedicated to patients who are critically ill or being closely monitored to prevent deterioration. Our multidisciplinary, professional staff provides care that supports the holistic inclusion of patients, families and significant others in order to assure the safe recovery of our clients and decrease the length of inpatient stay.

As a Registered Nurse in our ICU department, you will have the opportunity to support physician staff within this high-intensity unit, where you will provide quality nursing care to patients in accordance with accepted standards and hospital policy, and coordinate care planning with other disciplines. We are looking for someone warm and motivated, with strong patient care and communication skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai'i Registered Nurse License. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) CPR cards.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field. One (1) year ICU/CCU nursing experience.
