Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

*AGENCY MUST SUPPLY RADIATION BADGE* About this Position Position/Specialty: Procedural RN/Neuro IR RN Shift: Will work 4x10 hour shifts, 7am-5pm Is on-call REQ? Every 5th weekend and one night per week. Radius should be within 30 minutes during on call. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 1-2 years First-timers accepted: Yes Certifications REQ BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Experience REQ: Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab Exp highly preferred: Neuro experience, Critical Care esp Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Misc. Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on manager/units needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Teaching Hospital Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma: Magnet, Teaching and Level 1 Trauma Total Staffed Beds: 865 Scrub Color: Facility will provide scrubs Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Nights and weekends cost only.
