Position Overview:
The Interventional Radiology RN provides specialized nursing care during minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, ensuring patient safety, monitoring, and support throughout diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
Job Duties:
Assist with IR and vascular procedures (angioplasty, stenting, angiography)
Monitor patients during procedures, including sedation and cardiac rhythm
Administer medications and manage IV access
Perform sheath removal and monitor post-procedure recovery
Ensure radiation safety and compliance with protocols
