Pay Rate
Local: $65 – $68/hr
Traveler: $65 – $72/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - L&D / Mother Baby to provide nursing care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns while supporting safe maternal and fetal care.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license.

• BLS Certification.

• NRP Certification.

• Advanced or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification.

• Experience in Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby.

• Ability to care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns.

• No credentials may be pending at start.

• PA fingerprints must be completed at an IdentiGO location as soon as possible.

• Meditech charting experience preferred/required per facility workflow.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby units.

• Care for laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients.

• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes.

• Perform patient assessments and provide appropriate nursing interventions.

• Support labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care.

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.

• Document patient care accurately in Meditech.

• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

• Maintain patient safety and follow facility policies and procedures.

• Provide education and support to mothers and families.
