Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. L&D experience is required. The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking charge when needed and providing safe, evidence-based care in a busy Labor & Delivery environment.

The department averages approximately 80–90 births per month and follows AWHONN standards for nurse-to-patient ratios.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license

• Recent Labor & Delivery experience required

• BLS required

• ACLS required

• NRP required

• Strong L&D clinical experience

• Must be comfortable taking charge

• Must be willing to work every other weekend

• Experience caring for laboring, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric patients preferred

Unit Information

• 6 LDRP rooms

• 2 Triage rooms

• 5 Postpartum/WHS rooms

• 2 NICU beds in nursery

• Approximately 80–90 births per month

• Nurse-to-patient ratios follow AWHONN standards

• No floating to other units

• Candidate will not be required to take charge

• May need to assist/float to Mother Baby

• Night/PM shift assignment
