• Shift / Schedule: Day (3x12 Hours) 6:00 16:00

Job Summary

This is a travel contract opportunity for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery, with a preference for candidates with post-partum experience. The position is open to first-time travelers and requires weekend availability to meet staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within a Labor and Delivery specialty, including caring for high-risk OB patients and a culturally diverse population
• Circulate on cesarean sections as required
• Float within scope to meet facility needs travelers are first to float
• Manage an average daily census of 15 20 patients across 11 rooms and 15 beds
• Conduct approximately 20 visits/day
• Meet weekend staffing requirements as assigned

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Ability to care for high-risk OB patients
• Ability to circulate on cesarean sections
• Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Weekend availability to meet staffing needs

Education Requirements

• CA State RN License required (pending license not accepted)

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Post-partum experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
