• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $78.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 3x12 Days, 07:00 19:30
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility has ability to call off once per pay period (2 weeks)
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Labor and Delivery RN travel contract position at an Acute Care Hospital (MAGNET! designated facility) with 426 total staffed beds, located in Orange, CA. The role requires an experienced L&D nurse who is able to circulate and perform sterile vaginal exams.

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate in the Labor and Delivery unit as required
• Perform sterile vaginal exams
• Deliver nursing care aligned with Labor and Delivery unit needs, including potential weekend coverage exceeding every other weekend to accommodate unit needs

Education Requirements

• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• AWHONN Intermediate certification required
• AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
• Pending License: Not accepted

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required HARD STOP
• No first-time travelers HARD STOP
• Experience in large hospital settings highly preferred

Required Skills

• Must be able to circulate
• Must be able to perform sterile vaginal exams
• All skills and certifications required HARD STOP

• Parking: Free
• Weekends may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs
• Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered
• Travel pairs will not be considered
