POSITION: Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING =============================== Shift hours/Contract Length: 7a-7p ALT 7p-7a; 13 weeks Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend On Call Requirement: None Charting: EPIC experience required; Non-Epic-CPN/GE Centricity RTO, Block & Special Scheduling Requests: Must submit requests upon submission Call off Policy: The client may cancel (call off) up to three shifts during a 13-week contract period without incurring charges for the canceled hours. Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes Locals Accepted? Radius Rule: RN's within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted. Locals accepted for LPN's REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS =================================== Pending License Accepted: No, Must have an active New York Single State RN or LPN license. (NY is not Compact) Required Certifications: OB-ACLS or ACLS, BLS, EFM certification, NRP REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS ======================== Assist with vaginal delivery, Circulate for C-section, Recover C-Section, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin, Terbutaline) APGAR scores, Baby Nurse ( Baby Catcher ), ID/Security Banding, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation Foley catheter insertion/management, Fundus/lochia/perineum care, Post Partum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension NST(Non Stress Tests), Use of EFM(External Fetal Heart Monitoring),Use of IUPC(Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING ========================= Unit Details: All pregnant patients at any gestational age accepted by the provider team are cared for. Triage evaluates all pregnant patients at any gestational age and all postpartum patients within 6 weeks of delivery.
