Registered Nurse/Labor and Delivery

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Location: Syracuse, NY 13215
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Mid 3x12-Hour
Hours: (13:00 - 21:00)

Unit Details

• Unit: Labor & Delivery / Postpartum / Nursery
• Floating: Required between L&D, Postpartum, and Nursery
• Charting System: Epic (Preferred)

xperience Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years recent L&D experience (within last 2 years)
• Experience in similar or higher acuity hospital required
• Must have C-section circulating experience
• Scrubbing C-sections preferred

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Current New York RN License
• BLS Certification

Candidate Expectations

• Strong labor, delivery & postpartum care skills
• Ability to manage newborn and maternal care
• Comfortable with floating across OB units
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in acute care setting

Important Notes

• Must be flexible with unit floating requirements
• EPIC experience preferred
• Must meet all compliance requirements (background check, drug screen, health clearance)
• Clean license history required (no suspensions/investigations)
• Travelers must have experience in similar or larger facilities
