• Pay Rate: $90.00 $95.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night (4x12 Hours), 18:45 07:15; will consider 3x12's or 4x12s; 36 hours per week; every other weekend and holiday

Job Summary

This is a Labor and Delivery travel nursing opportunity at a major medical facility in Worcester, MA. The traveler will be assigned to a maternity float pool and will be required to work both Labor & Delivery (L&D) and Postpartum (PP). Scheduling flexibility for 3x12 or 4x12 shifts is available. Pending MA license is acceptable travelers may be submitted without a temporary or permanent license; however, upon receiving an offer, the traveler must apply for the MA conditional (temp) license within 48 hours of signing.

Key Responsibilities

• Work within a maternity float pool, covering both L&D and Postpartum (PP) assignments
• Perform Labor and Delivery nursing duties consistent with specialty and scope of practice
• Adhere to all facility compliance, orientation, and credentialing requirements

Required Skills

• Intermediate level AWHONN fetal monitoring certification (or above) required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Epic EMR experience required

Education Requirements

• Active MA Registered Nurse license required (pending MA license accepted at submission; must apply for MA conditional/temp license within 48 hours of offer)
• Intermediate and above AWHONN fetal monitoring certification required
• ACLS required
• BLS required
• NRP required

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required (travel experience considered); 3 years strongly preferred

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Assignment is on-site at a hospital maternity unit
• Float pool assignment required to work both L&D and Postpartum units
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• 36 hours per week; night shift (18:45 07:15)
• Flu vaccination: Required medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed
• COVID-19 vaccination: Not required
• Local candidates accepted (same bill rate applies)

Important Notes

• Travelers must be submitted with confirmation that they are aware of 2 pass/fail exams at orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam.
• Both exams allow 1 attempt only. Failure to pass either exam results in immediate contract cancellation.
• Study materials will be provided between the compliance process and FDIs.
