• Pay Rate: $85.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night Shift, 4x12 Hours (18:45 07:15); 36 HPW every other weekend and holiday; facility will also accept 48 HPW

Job Summary

This is a Labor and Delivery (L&D) / Postpartum (PP) travel nursing position at a hospital in Worcester, MA. The facility will accept 36 or 48 hours per week and will accept 13 26 week contracts. The nurse will be assigned to a maternity float pool and must have experience and be willing to float between L&D and PP, as these are true LDRP positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Float between Labor and Delivery (L&D) and Postpartum (PP) units as required true LDRP position
• Work within a maternity float pool as assigned
• Work every other weekend and holiday per scheduling requirements

Required Skills

• Experience in Labor and Delivery and Postpartum (L&D and PP) willingness and ability to float between both units required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Intermediate level AWHONN certification or above required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required

Education Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) License Massachusetts license required; pending MA license is acceptable for submission (applicant must apply for the MA conditional/temporary license within 48 hours of offer acceptance)
• Intermediate and above AWHONN certification required
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required

Required Experience

• 3 years of L&D/PP experience strongly preferred; 1 2 years with travel nursing experience will be considered

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (18:45 07:15)
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• Float between L&D and PP units within a maternity float pool
• Flu vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed
• COVID-19 vaccination: not required

Important Notes

• Candidates must be aware of and confirm acknowledgment of 2 pass/fail exams at orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam. Each exam allows only 1 attempt. Failure to pass either exam will result in immediate contract cancellation.
• Study materials will be provided during the compliance process and facility-directed inservices (FDIs).
• Pending MA license submissions are accepted. Upon offer, the traveler must apply for the MA conditional (temporary) license within 48 hours of signing.
• Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate.
