Mt. Auburn Hospital's Labor & Delivery unit is a trusted leader in maternity care, supporting approximately2,600 births each year. We are proud to maintain a lower-than-average Cesarean (C-section) rate, reflecting our commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care. We are home to the largest midwifery practice in Eastern Massachusetts, where midwives work in close partnership with physicians, nurses, and the broader care team. Together, we support a full spectrum of pregnancy and birth experiences—from low-intervention, family-centered births to comprehensive care for complex and high-risk pregnancies. Our program has received multiple awards and distinctions for excellence in maternity care, underscoring our dedication to high-quality prenatal care, safe deliveries, and positive birth experiences.
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in delivering exceptional Labor & Delivery care. RNs work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team to provide compassionate, high-quality, and individualized nursing care to patients and their families.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and or up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Job is physical in nature and employee needs to stand and/or move around through the majority of their shift.

Pay Range:
$37.00 - $95.37
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
