RN – Labor & DeliverySeattle, WA | Full-Time | Onsite12-Hour Night Shifts | 36 Hours/Week
We are seeking experienced
Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced maternity environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and document patient conditions and communicate changes appropriately.
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care throughout the L&D experience.
- Educate and support patients and families.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain patient safety, clinical competencies, and professional nursing standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum 1 year of post-graduation Labor & Delivery RN experience.
- Active Washington RN license upon hire.
- BLS – American Heart Association required.
- NRP – American Academy of Pediatrics required.
Important: Nursing school clinical rotations and residency programs
do not count toward the required 1 year of L&D experience.
Preferred
- Specialty/national nursing certification.
- Strong L&D clinical judgment, communication, and patient advocacy skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Ideal Candidate: An experienced L&D RN who is comfortable working
12-hour night shifts in a busy maternity environment.
