What Youll Do
- Provide bedside care for antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patients
- Monitor and support laboring patients, including active labor and postpartum care
- Assist with obstetric procedures such as c-sections, inductions, and triage
- Administer medications including Magnesium Sulfate and Pitocin
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, including charge nurses and providers
- Document patient care accurately in EMR systems such as Meditech Expanse and GE Centricity
- Support unit functions, including patient education and coordination of care
What You Need
- Valid RN license for Louisiana or compact license
- 1+ year of labor and delivery experience
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, NRP, FHM
- Ability to handle high patient acuity and rapid response situations
- Strong teamwork and communication skills

The unit provides family-centered care, and nurses support a collaborative environment with a supportive team, including in-house RT and phlebotomy services.
