Our client, a healthcare company, is hiring a Registered Nurse to join their medical-surgical unit in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This role involves direct patient care, coordination with physicians and care teams, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation in a fast-paced hospital environment.
The ideal candidate holds an active Pennsylvania RN license, has at least two years of clinical experience, and is comfortable managing a full patient caseload while adapting to shifting priorities. This is a full-time position with rotating shifts, including some weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and treatment monitoring
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop patient care plans
Document patient conditions and treatments accurately in the electronic health record
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns to physicians as needed
Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state nursing regulations
Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings
Requirements
Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience
Current BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Experience with electronic health record systems
Ability to stand and move for extended periods during shifts
