Floating is required if the unit has a need
Weekend coverage - Every other (may change based on need)
Unit will accept 1st time travelers depending on experience in specialty
Must have at least one year of EPIC experience
Omnicell - Medication System
Certificates Required: ACLS, BLS and SC state RN license
Patient Diagnoses: 18 yrs %2B, Vent Weaning, Wound Care, Spinal cord injury. Trach/Peg.
Special Procedures/Unit Details: 12 Bed ICU, 31 Bed Med-Surg Unit, Staff work both units
The Company Floating Policy for Contracted Staff
The Companys goal is to keep staff in their home unit. However, it is a requirement for all assignments that agency staff, regardless of unit or facility, must float to other The Company units and/or campuses per request due to census concerns. Staff will only be floating to units they are qualified for and performing tasks for which competencies have already been demonstrated and documented.
