Registered Nurse

Seeking Registered Nurse - Mother Baby  - 13 Week Contract                            Requirements: RN, BLS, ACLS, NRP, 1 Year of Experience, 2 Preferred                Pay Details: Weekly Pay, Housing and Meal Stipends, Travel Reimbursement             

The responsibilities of a mother-baby RN include providing nursing care in a hospital to new mothers after delivery, based on scientific nursing principles. Your tasks in this career include assisting with birth recovery and coordinating with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure mother and infant receive the most effective care plan. You maintain a clean and safe environment, assist the mother with hygiene if needed, check for postpartum bleeding, inspect the c-section incision when applicable, and assess any pain the mother experiences. You monitor newborn and mother bonding, perform emotional checks, and record vital signs and any negative reactions to medications. You also educate the mother on breastfeeding, bathing the baby, changing diapers, and more.
