Bridgton Hospital is seeking an experienced RN Manager, Medical Surgical/Telemetry to provide 24-hour leadership and operational oversight of the Med/Surg and Telemetry departments. Reporting directly to the CNO/DON, this leader is responsible for patient care excellence, staff management, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, performance improvement, staffing, and daily department operations.

Central Maine Healthcare (CMH), a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents across central, western, and midcoast Maine through a network of more than 40 primary and specialty care locations. Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Medical Surgical and Telemetry units.
  • Ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care and positive clinical outcomes.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and resource utilization.
  • Recruit, coach, develop, and evaluate nursing staff.
  • Lead quality improvement, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state, and federal regulations.
  • Monitor department metrics, patient satisfaction, and quality indicators.
  • Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to drive operational excellence.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, teamwork, and service excellence.
Qualifications:

Education and Work Experience


1. Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
2. BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
3. A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.
4. Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.
5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.

6. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), required for all hires after 1/11/2021.
