Registered Nurse Manager - Emergency Room

RN MGR - ER 

Full-Time DAYS

Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Emergency Services Department will have the following job responsibilities:

• The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. 
• The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Emergency Services Department must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

• • Recent Acute ER leadership experience required (ideally 2-3+ years of recent/consistent leadership experience – willing to review 
  • Charge experience but prefer Assistant Nurse Manager, Supervisor, or Manager experience). MUST also have strong and recent acute care emergency services experience (3-5+ years of experience).
    
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing – preferred
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation - required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support – preferred
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course -preferred
  • Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (or PALS) – required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (or ENPC) – required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program – preferred
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention – preferred
