How you'll make an impact in this role
Acute Patient Care: Provide comprehensive direct nursing care to a diverse population of adult patients experiencing acute medical conditions or recovering from surgical procedures, managing workloads of multiple patients simultaneously.
Clinical Monitoring & Assessment: Conduct focused physical assessments, continuously monitor vital signs and patient status, administer medications, and manage specialized lines, tubes, or wound care dressings.
Care Coordination & Communication: Serve as the central hub for patient care by accurately documenting clinical data, tracking lab results, and proactively communicating status changes to physicians and inter-disciplinary teams.
Discharge Planning & Education: Patiently educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, post-operative care instructions, and medication regimens, while coordinating with case management to ensure safe, effective discharge planning.
What minimum requirements you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
